Trainee Polymer Engineer (Production)
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of manufacturing plan to meet delivery deadlines with minimum wastages as per standards
- Ensure product conform requirements set out in the manufacturing and quality standards
- Prepare and update daily production reports and monthly presentation
- Review and update machining backlogs and checklists on daily basis
- Troubleshoot issues being encountered and keep all machines operational by coordinating with maintenance team
- Daily meeting with shift supervisors/operators to discuss running issues (i.e. delays/machine maintenance/etc.)
- Ensure workers properly wearing uniforms, safety shoes and taking safety measures while handling machines
- Implement succession planning program to produce future supervisors and operators
