ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE)

Job Specifications:

Education: BE (Mechanical)
Experience: At least 1-3 years of relevant experience

Job Requirements:

• Must have hands-on experience of the maintenance of mechanical equipment like gear boxes, Pumps, Over head cranes, Cooling towers, compressors, Hydraulic machinery etc.
• Able to work in Shifts to handle Preventive, Corrective and Predictive maintenance to ensure maximum availbilty of plant for Production.
• In case of a breakdown, the incumbent is required to develop the Failure Analysis Report and submit the same to his superior for relevant action.
• Preperation and compilation of documents like Shift report, History cards, Check lists, Down time Analysis report.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P & IDs , Hydraulic schematics etc.
• Have basic knowledge of spare planning and able to modify spares as per requirement.
• Ensure adherence to all pertinent Safety Rules and Regulations and ensure understanding of the same by the junior staff.
