ASSISTANT MANAGER SAP-SOLUTIONS

Key Responsibilities:

· Understand and analyze the requirements of internal customers and translate them into SAP terminologies.

· Improve utilization of SAP to provide end user and power user training on various modules (MM, PP, QM & MDM).

· Provide support in ongoing and special projects related to SAP SCM.

· Identify creative ways to optimize and reduce the recurring incidents for streamlining the SAP SCM operations.

· Resolve SAP SCM functional (Configuration, Trouble Shooting & Training) issues lodged in HDMS according to SLA.

· Collaborate with, and understand the needs of internal customers from a business perspective to help drive key SAP SCM solutions for driving operational efficiencies

· Train power users to ensure the efficient operation of the SAP SCM function.

· Mitigate and reduce the risks in SAP SCM operations due to incidents.

· Prepare functional specifications and test scripts

· Identify the need of reports in SAP SCM module and coordinate with ABAP team.

· Create SOPs for effective utilization of SAP and reduction of operational bottlenecks

· Escalate the issue to external consultants and coordinate between the end users and consultants.

· Coordinate with BASIS team for transports and authorizations.

· Perform the (Master Data Management) MDM activity for Materials i.e., creation, extension, updates, archive the master data for materials in SAP.

· Coordinate with the stakeholders of relevant Master Data in providing the correct and complete entries.

· Periodically clean the master data by archiving it.

· Create SOP for MDM procedures of SCM area.

· Mitigate and reduce the risks in operations due to incorrect Master Data.

· Proficiently use MS Office for transforming and filtering the data using tools like VLookup, Filters, Data validation etc.

· Perform mass updates for huge data using LSMW and related tools.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.

Education:

BS Computer Science or equivalent

SAP Certification is preferred

Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience
