Mechanical Head

• Knowledge of all types of machinery i.e. Bowzers, Grader, Dumpers, Transit Mixtures, Concrete Pouring and all earth moving machinery.
• Good hands on experience of mechanical parts and trouble shooting.
• Knowledge of all mechanical parts and its functionality.
• Managing team of operators and helpers.
• Responsible for the smooth operations and working conditions directly related to construction and machinery.
• Receive all new equipment on site including all type of heavy and light construction machinery.
• Assure the fleet and its related equipment is operating safely.
• Assure the fleet and its related equipment is in sound working order.
• Assure the fleet is maintained in a clean and uncluttered state.
• Manage short term equipment rentals.
• Provide accurate job information, parts, tooling, supplies, etc.
• Effectively schedule with technician the troubleshooting and diagnosis of machine problems.
• Maximize technician utilization by effectively scheduling, planning and assigning work.
• Review and approve daily time cards for the staff directly operating the machinery.
• Advise management of changes in available work vs. staffing levels.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure monthly safety audits for work area are completed.
• Ensure timely communication of safety issues to direct supervisors with appropriate paperwork.
• Build and maintain environment characterized by high productivity and morale.
• Assist in selecting mechanics and other equipment required for smooth operations.
• Develop people through training, coaching, etc.

Note: Experience of FWO, Bahria Town and any other large Housing Project is required.
