Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of all type of construction related material used in housing societies e: g: Sand, Crush, iron, PVC Pipes etc.
- Prepare plans for the purchase of goods and services.
- Collect quotations after detailed market survey.
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
- Review and compare the quotations and get them approved from the management.
- Responsible for the provision of on-time material as required.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
- Search new potential vendors and sustain long term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain & keep record of material purchased.
