Purchase Executive - Construction
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of all type of construction related material used in housing societies e: g: Sand, Crush, iron, PVC Pipes etc.
- Monitor market conditions and equipment and materials costs;
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies and equipment as per demand.
- Interface with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues
- Lead, manage, motivate, and hold accountable team members within the Purchasing & Product Development departments including hiring, training, and developing to ensure a quality team that functions well together.
- Ensure that all reports are completed accurately and in a timely fashion including those relating to market conditions, home cost, option cost.
- Administer the purchasing and options systems and ensure their utilization and accuracy.
- Will be responsible to manage entire procurement operations at BWC Site Rawalpindi.
- Responsible to sustain long term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Responsible to achieve significant cost savings b finding new employers and by negotiating current employers.
- Responsible for the provision of on time material as required.
- Ensure proper record maintenance of material purchased and used.
- Make sure that all the procurements orders are approved by the project management authority and relevant head of department.
- Maintain record of rental materials, proceed payments and negotiate contracts renewal in a timely manner.
