Senior Manager Industrial Relations

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining management's right to manage
  • Labor contract administration and interpretation, including Benefit Agreements
  • Participate in contract negotiations as contractual and benefit expert as well as key member to strategy team
  • All disciplinary action administered in bargaining plants
  • Supervise and train Superintendent - Industrial Relations, and Industrial Relation Representative who serve manufacturing sites as well as plant leadership
  • Educating Business Units on contractual requirements and alternative approaches to labor problems
  • Company representative in all labor matters (arbitration as well as managing outside legal counsel)
