Ruby on Rails Software Engineers

Job Description

We, at CENTSOL (PVT.) limited, are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer. Graduates from well-reputed universities and having good communication skills with at least 2 Year of related professional experience are encouraged to apply for the position.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in the following areas:

• Have in-depth knowledge of Rails framework
• Knows best practices of Ruby and Rails. Familiar with web services, and REST API's
• Strong demonstrable command over Ruby-on-Rails syntax and programming concepts
• Strong command over JavaScript Libraries like jQuery, underscore, backbone, Node, ExtJS etc.
• Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap)
• Must be a good database engineer, who is also able to develop complex SQL statements
• Excellent knowledge of web applications architecture
• Excellent Understanding of site development, application layouts and portals
• Experience with ActiveAdmin
• Strong working knowledge of parsing XML and JSON documents
• Should have knowledge and experience of Agile Development
• Experience with SQL-Less databases like MongoDB etc
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN
