The Position:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, to work out of Contour Software Islamabad/Lahore/Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Desired Skills and Responsibilities:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer/similar capacity for Web and Enterprise applications

Prior experience of implementing applications in container technologies like Docker

Hands-on expertise in DevOps / CI/CD tools; Jenkins, Git, etc.

Experience with configuration management, orchestration, automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet

Demonstrated ability to write programs using a high-level programming languages/scripting, such as Java, Python, UNIX shell, Perl, etc.

Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows.

Problem-solving, debugging and good analytical skills.

Communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.

Good organizational skills.

Flexibility and adaptability.

The ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues.
