The Position:

At Proenco: ProPeople, we track hundreds of thousands of employee skill certifications helping our customers get the right people to the right locations on a daily basis. Servicing mainly Oil & Gas platforms and on shore facilities we are a critical element of our customers productivity and safety. Were looking for talented team to meet the needs of the overhaul we have underway as we transition from Window to Web.

The Fullstack Developers and Test Automation Engineer will share responsibilities for implementing software solutions to address complex business issues while providing technical and status feedback in a collaborative working environment. With a focus on automated testing and Continuous Integration with Automated Testing (CD) these positions will greatly overlap in terms of responsibilities and skillsets

Desired Skills and Responsibilities Include:

Prior experience and knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle

Excellent understanding of full stack web application development

Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Qualify focus in a collaborative team environment following development standards

Appreciation for QA and willingness to share the automated test authoring role with another developer

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years experience of developing client/server and web applications using C#.

Significant expertise with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, HTML 5, JavaScript or equivalent technologies.

Additional Beneficial Skills:

Prior experience of working in Team Lead role.

Knowledge of Atlassian Stack or Azure DevOps tools.

Experience using Git or other DVCS & branching methodologies.

Strong programming skills/experience in the following:

Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, etc.)

Automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, FIT, etc.)

Web services development

Angular or Vue

CSS

Responsive web design

TypeScript

JSON

Experience in Oil & Gas vertical market software platforms.

Knowledge and experience of DevOps.

The selected individuals will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
