Project Manager / Construction Manager

Job Description

· He will supervise construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.

· Understand the construction business and must be able to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· He should control the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential and commercial.

· Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

· He will oversee an entire construction project, or multiple managers might oversee specific aspects of a larger project.

· Determine the scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines.

· Should have the ability to negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors and other workers.

Responsible of securing of building permits and licenses and delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites also might be issues that must be addressed initially.

· Should confer with supervisors or other managers to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes and must ensure that a project is completed according to schedule, managers must resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.

· Should be expert in Resource Allocation, PERT and Earned Value Analysis, Cost Analysis, S-Curve, and Project Scheduling using Primavera and MS Project

· Should be proficient in Risk & Opportunities Identification and Analysis, Change Management, Quality Assurance & Control Management, Site and Construction Management, Business Development, Strategic Management and Business Relationship Management.

· Execute Progress Report, Quantity Report, BOQ, Linear Plan and Material Tests Reports.
