CCTV Monitor Room Operator

Job Description:

Maintenance of operation room, log book and logging of all important events / happening.

Ensuring upkeep and maintenance of monitoring room equipment and fittings.

Ensuring room is separate all the time and no unauthorized person is allowed inside.

Understand the SOPs for functioning of CCTV room and ensure compliance.

Monitor all cameras screens activity inside production halls stores, factory premises, entries/exits and other sensitive locations and inform security supervisor / Admin Manager of any untoward happening.

Save guard videos of any incidents for reference and subsequent investigation.

Remain alert to changing activity pattern during day and night and during arrival / departure of shifts and focus on relevant cameras accordingly

Timely inform the relevant person, security supervisor / gate duty security of any developing activity/impending happening to take preventive measures (fire incidents, theft, over speeding, accident etc).

Report fault / failure of system / equipment to manager Admin. Should ensure the security of control room and equipment is maintained at all times. He should report equipment failure to the Admin Manager / Security Officer/ IT Department.

Review important happenings/ activities captured on camera / camaras and notify to available authority (Admin Manager / Security Officer) of suspicious activity.
