Assistant Project Manager Construction

Horizon Technologies is looking for a reliable Assistant Project Manager Construction to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with technicians and the construction team to determine the specifications of the project.
2. Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
3. Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team.
4. Ability to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties.
5. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
6. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
7. Collaborate with warehouse personnel to acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
8. Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines.
9. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
10. Manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple construction projects.
11. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building the process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
12. Fluency in Speaking English is a must

Requirements

Proven experience as construction project manager.

In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management. principles.

Knowledge of Gas Station Construction, Remodeling, and familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.

1. Good knowledge of MS Office.
2. Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
3. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
5. A team player with leadership abilities.
6. PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

Note:

This is a third shift night job and the timing of this job will be from 6:00 PM till 3:00 AM (Mon to Fri)
