Email Marketing Officer

Horizon Technologies is looking for an email marketing expert who will be responsible for end-to-end marketing activities through email campaigns using email marketing software. Your basic duties include running email marketing campaigns, managing email databases, and generating qualified leads through emails.

Responsibilities:

• Craft irresistible subject lines
• Work with designer and copywriter to design email templates
• Draft and send email pitches
• Write convincing body copies and call-to-actions (CTAs) to drive conversions
• Experiment and Run A/B or multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance
• Create audience segments based on demographic, behavioral, psychographic, and other criteria and run highly personalized email campaigns
• Run lead nurturing activities, i.e., guide the audience through the funnel by sending downloadable guides, free trials, etc. based on the stage of the buyer’s journey
• Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
• Ensure domain doesn’t get blacklisted, and emails don’t land in the spam folder.
• Compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act, or CASL)
• The candidate must be excellent in using excel
• Candidate must be Tech savvy and know how to use modern tools
• Candidate will do data mining for emails
• Candidate must be able to handle email campaigns

Experience:

• Experience using email marketing platforms or marketing automation software.
• Experience working with a graphical email editor or coding editor
• Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act or CASL).
• Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database.
• Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Basic  project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience running strategic programs via manual and triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.

This is a Thirdt shift night job and the timing of this job will be from (6pm till 3 am Mon to Fri)
