Human Resource / Admin Executive

Horizon Technologies is looking to hire a “HR & Admin Executive” for their client. A Canadian healthcare company building tech products and solutions for the fertility industry

Assist the department in ensuring smooth running of day to day HR operational activities.

Maintain staff attendance and leave records ensuring all applications are in place, accurately recorded and are up to date.

Prepare and maintain personnel files ensuring the files are up to date.

Assist in on boarding formalities and preparation of relevant forms.

Prepare offer letters, appointment letters/contracts of employees, reference letters as per the set format and ensure all formalities are completed and personal file is up to date

Assist in following up on probationary reports and preparing confirmation letters as per the set format.

Issue clearance form and follow up with relevant departments to ensure staff separation is smooth and timely and prepare experience certificates.

Coordinate with group medical and life insurance companies for all related activities.

Prepare a payment request form and coordinate with the accounts department for payments.

Coordinate with third parties for hiring of new resources, ensuring documentation and account opening formalities are completed, loans and salary advances, staff separation and final settlement, medical cards, hospitalization, claims settlement and premium payment.

Coordinate with different departments on a monthly basis for overtime, salary deductions, if any, and prepare third party employees payroll for reconciliation and verification

Prepare and maintain stationery requisition required for the HR department.

Perform any other tasks as may be requested by the management.

Qualification & Skills:

HR graduate preferably from a reputable institution or masters with at least 2 years of experience.

Minimum of 2 years experience in the relevant field. is mandatory.

Professional certifications in the HR domains will be preferred.

Knowledge of relevant labor laws.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Good organizational skills.

Sensitive to employee issues and grievances and a good listener.

Ability to handle all responsibilities proactively.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

Self-motivated, energetic, possessing integrity and high ethical standard
