Marketplace Executive - eCommerce

Horizon Technologies is looking for a team the lead of E-commerce marketplace executive who will be responsible to lead the team for site operations, online marketing, merchandise assortment, merchandising, promotions and brand maintenance. This includes Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay and other 3rd party marketplaces.

This position will collaborate closely with Creative and Social Media team as well as other areas of the company to execute existing and develop new Marketplace initiatives and opportunities designed to meet and exceed the needs of the customer and the Marketplace E-Commerce revenue goals.

The candidate will provide day-to-day management of the site and collaborate on strategic leadership and guidance of e-commerce strategies in conjunction with senior advisors and report on E-commerce metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

Operations:

• Marketplace, strategy, management, forecasts, and results. These include short- and long-term objectives, customer metrics, and overall performance. Develop reports and reporting formats.
•  Lead and supervise day-to-day marketplace E-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.
•  Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal and functionality meet and exceed company expectations.
•  Develop time and action calendars with processes and procedures to ensure actions are successfully completed.
•  Coordinate with performance marketing, creative and social media teams to achieve high-quality product visibility.
•  Lead the team to develop the merchandising strategy and deck to ensure the site is well merchandised according to company directives and standards.
• Plan out and execute marketplace promotions to maximize growth.
•  Coordinate with creative and strategy team for managing the execution of email marketing, affiliate programs, SEO, and PPC ads.
•  Ensure marketplace copy and metadata are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in handling E-commerce business including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and 3rd party marketplaces.
• Experience with E-commerce marketing and digital sales drivers with marketplace and channel advisors
• Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting, and content management systems and processes
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative.
•  Strong project management skills
•  Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
•  Experience with the Juniors and Missy market a plus
•  Min. Bachelors in Business Administration/Commerce (Preferably Masters)

       This is a third shift night job and the timing of this job will be from 6 pm to 3 am (Mon to Fri).
