VoIP Development Manager

• Architect the complete design of Audio / video calls and messaging using XMPP / SIP for the next whatsapp application that scales to millions of users.
• You are comfortable with technologies like Erlang / Smack / libjingle / WebRTC / strophe.js /Websockets / Ejabberd / openfire / SRTP/ ZRTP and do a comparative analysis on these technologies and find the optimal solution according to industry standards.
• Lead a team of engineers to deliver high quality products with high scalability and containerization.
• Excellent programming skills in Erlang / C++ / Python.
• Excellent programming skills in RTP/ RTCP / XMPP client applications.
• Good understanding of IP Telephony/VolP related protocols, middleware back-ends and architecting solutions from the ground up to serve millions of users.
• Experience in the development/engineering/operation of products in VoIP systems.
• Experience working with delivering an end to end application like whatsapp / skype.
• Solid understanding of websockets / Message queues for signaling and WebRTC for media transport for P2P audio & video calls.
• Micro Services, Middleware, Billing Engines, Charging Systems, Web and Cloud.
• Hands-on experience in Integration/Customization of Open Source Components for Voice and Telephony.
• Experience in customizing open source telephony/media packages.                                  
• Hands on Experience of databases like MySQL, SQL, Cassandra, Mongo or Postgresql.
• Version Control/ Management: Git, SVN, Jenkins.

• Kamailio, OpenSlPS, Asterisk, FreeSwitch, STUN/ICE, SIP load balancer, Edge - Proxies, Audio/ Video Codecs, Real-time Telco Billing, VAS, IN, CDR, EDR, WebRTC Gateways, Media servers, Wireshark. 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE , Wireless, VolP/SlP/SDP packet level extensive troubleshooting etc.
