Technical Lead / Scrum Master

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Inspiring, mentoring and empowering a small team of Software Engineers towards shared goals.
  • Building services, using either Dot net or Java, depending on the domain.
  • Leading design discussions, retrospectives and empowering teams to find solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, being unafraid of tackling difficult engineering challenges.
  • The desire to lead a small team of Software Engineers.
  • The ability to write clean and highly performant code yourself.
  • The ability to lead design discussions.
  • Design and develop coding standards to follow the best practices.
  • Provide technical review of the solution and code.
  • Participate in all scrum meetings and activities.
  • Work with the project manager to support project plans and correct resource and time allocation.
  • Technical advisor to the project manager, test manager and/or business.
  • Identify project risks and assumptions.
  • Responsible for the technical governance for the project.
  • Estimations of the development components required for the entire solution.
  • Responsible for the health of the build server.
  • Manage the quality of the code being developed by the developers throughout the sprint and so on to release.
  • Ensure code is documented where applicable or required.
  • Develop the initial framework or platform of the solution which each developer will use to build the solution.
  • Being a scrum master perform all the scrum related activities.
  • Arrange and lead all scrum meetings
  • Monitor Scrum process and its conformance
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Plan and introduce continuous delivery practices.
  • Should keep good experience with end-to-end software development processes and practices of agile.
  • Develop and present change requests for out-of-scope requests.
  • Manage weekly calls with client, broker, and partner during the implementation.
  • Manage the setup and comprehensive testing of new file interfaces.
  • Provide summary status reporting and call notes to participants.
  • Facilitate client education process; lead or coordinate training with other departments regarding practices and policies.
  • Identify and initiate internal process improvements.
  • Document internal and client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional task forces and special projects as assigned.
  • Manage multiple tasks
  • Develop project plans
  • Present weekly progress via project plan, DevOps Board
