Digital Media Specialist

Position Purpose:

To help build, grow and manage company’s online communities. Using analytics tools to monitor social media outlets, online forums and blogs to find out what people are saying about the company.

Job Description:

Writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and frequent content for social media channels. Collaborating to develop video content.

Creating, managing and growing Joyland's presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other strategically relevant online properties

Attending entrepreneurship related events in the country and planning meet-ups for the entrepreneurial community

Coordinating all mentor and investor community interactions with NIC

Building or using existing online/offline community collaboration platforms for managing communities of incubatees of the center, its mentors and investors. Constantly network with community members and identify community champions.

Managing queries and support requests to the center coming in through various channels (phone, e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and monitoring discussions, postings, and trends within the community. Identifies and reports trends in usage and advises on potential opportunities.

Collaborating with the Marketing Manager for creating strategic marketing/communications plans for the center’s public-facing communications.

Using Facebook and Google Analytics & other measurement tools to provide reports on engagement metrics, and continually find ways to improve them.

Works with Marketing Manager to develop and implement community promotion and engagement strategies and tactics as they relate to the center’s strategic goals. Communicates and promotes new community features or procedures to members, staff, mentors and investors.

Collaborating with the LUMS marketing department to develop content for fund raising collateral, writing donor proposals, and assisting the marketing manager to execute fund raising campaigns.
