Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and procedures
• Providing accurate cost advice to clients, Undertake cost analysis
• Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
• Pricing of estimates and cost plans and Contract administration
• Prepare reports about Cost control / reporting (Budget development, forecasting, spend profiling, period -end reporting
• Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site
• Prepare cash flows; Amend, update and reconcile Cost Reports, Writing of monthly reports
• Managing client relations, Ability to meet with liaise with clients and other professional consultants

Skills:

• 8- 10 year’s Quantity Surveying experience
• Knowledge of the construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
• Ability to work in a team and independently
