SAP Basis Administrator - Information Systems & Technology

Job Description

• Manage SAP basic task (user creation, Role creation, authorization)
• Manage SAP backups and restore.
• Manage client copies between different SAP servers.
• Install, build and optimize new and existing enterprise databases
• Perform database maintenance, upgrades and tuning
• Perform Linux OS maintenance
• Participate in the planning of large scale ERP deployments
• Monitor disaster recovery sites
• To plan, configure, monitor, backup, secure and administer Oracle RAC databases
• To perform database maintenance, upgrades and tuning
• To perform user administration for system level users SAP
• To resolve database related issues both internally and with principals (Oracle)

• SAP installation
• SAP user creation
• Manage SAP authorizations
• Manage transports
• Must be familiar with a mixed Database Environment
• Shall have worked in an environment running an enterprise class ERP, preferably SAP
• Sound knowledge of LINUX OS

Qualification:

Master’s of Computer Science or a related field from an HEC recognized university

Experience (Minimum):

1-2 Years
