Job Description

Main Purpose

To provide logistics support and supervision of logistic staff in the Primary Health Care Clinic, DHQ HOSPITAL Timergara.

Key responsibilities:

Security and Safety Implementation: Security issues and news dissemination. Participates in implementation of evacuation plan and safety procedures.

Inventory System Implementation: Ordering, receiving and delivery procedures. Implementation of inventory system. Collaboration with supply team to ensure the continuous availability of essential material in stock.

Facilities and equipment maintenance: Building Maintenance. Equipment Maintenance (Acs, Biomed,...). Power and Electrical facilities. Water and Sanitation facilities. Safety equipment and facilities.

Construction and Rehabilitation: Participates in monitoring construction and rehabilitation works. Follow MSF procedures to select contractors and supervise their work.

Staff supervision and Coordination: Supervision of logistics staff working in the clinic. Supervision of security through watchman supervisor. Supervision of transport through driver supervisor. Coordinate with Log Base on transportation. Regular staff meetings and preparation of adapted trainings.

Communication and reporting: Close communication with Log Manager. Report any incident and anticipate issues by suggesting improvements in logistic process. Positive approach to medical matters and good collaboration with medical teams.
