Logistics Manager (Reserve Pool)

Job Description

Implementation of Logistics strategies, tools and procedures needed in the mission specifically in the areas of IT/Biomedical, & Energy.

Supervises and ensures the proper and timely functioning of the intersectional mechanical unit, also facilitating the intersectional workshop and field visits activities.

In coordination with the Logistics Coordinator, prepares the initial drafts of the logistics/service contracts, and ensures their complete fulfillment on the administrative and technical side.

Monitors and leads the implementation of the “Preventive Maintenance” concept thorough the mission (Facility Management Tool kit.

Facilitate biddings/tenders related to logistics/service contracts, ensuring that the procedure is followed and the highest efficiency of the selected bidders;

Manages and monitors the logistics of the material resources for the technical unit, under the supervision of the line manager and the technical adviser.

Monitor activity in the different logistics specialties, as well as providing technical support to logistics personnel in the technical team through self-knowledge and policies.

Ensures technical reference for all logistics/technical issues in the mission and provides coaching to logistics staff through the organization of regular technical workshops;

Ensures the proper use and maintenance of IT (computers, software, backups, etc.) and communication tools;
