Midwife Activity Manager Assistant MCH

Job Description

General objectives:

Assist the Midwife Activity Manager in the supervision of general operations in the MCH department (MCH, POW and NBU)

Key responsibilities:

Maintain close communication and collaboration with the supervisors of MCH + Post Op ward and Newborn Unit (NBU)

Assist in the improvement of nursing care in MCH, Post Op Ward and NBU, in close collaboration with their respective supervisors and the MAM

Collaborate with the ward supervisors on the supervision of pharmacy management (drugs, supplies and equipment)

Assist the Midwife Activity Manager in the creation and implementation of strategies for the improvement of quality of care in Labour ward, Postnatal Ward, Post Op Ward and NBU

Participate in the organization and implementation of departmental trainings

Replace the Midwife Activity Manager during her absence

General Duties:

Assistant MAM is responsible for drafting and finalizing of monthly duty rosters for all MCH staff

Ensure correct implementation of infection control measures conform with MSF protocols
