Psychosocial Counselor

Main purpose:

The mental health counselor works directly with the patients and their families in order to offer psychosocial support and counseling, respecting the confidentiality and appropriate ethics; keeps record of sessions and updates database and client’s files regularly

Accountabilities:

• Provide psycho-social support through counseling
• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Essential: Good knowledge of Lower Dir community and culture. Good communication skills in English and Pashto.
• Desirable: Other languages are added advantage.
