Anesthetist

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and carry out anesthetic medical activities, according to organizationpolicies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in close collaboration with the surgeon and other medical staff, and increase the knowledge and practical skills.
• Carry out pre-operative consultations evaluating the risks of operating in collaboration with the surgeon
• Ensure transfer of patients to the recovery room, and full recovery of the patient’s consciousness and setting analgesic protocol
• Advise on Postoperative care in both Intensive Care Unit and wards with the surgeon
• Provide post-operative follow up of critical patients present in the facility (rounds, prescriptions, etc.).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CONDITIONS:

• MCPS (Anesthesia) or Diploma in To lead team with professional behaviour and integrity, and to promote unity and peace among all staffs under the project Ensure good knowledge on fistula among the field level staff of government health and family planning department Explore fistula patients by the government field staffs through FWC, UHC, district hospitals ensure identification and refer of fistula patients to appropriate facilities
• Experience Requirements
• At least 3 year(s)
• Additional Requirements
• Age at least 28 years
• Only females are allowed to apply
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on Fistula prevention, rehabilitation programs is essential.
• Training on Fistula prevention, Rehabilitation and Disaster related will be preferred , PMDC registered
• Previous experience as an Anesthetist is required
• Fluent in English, Pashto and Urdu
