Training Coordinator SSHE / MHPS

Responsibilities

Task to be performed:

  • Prepare a quarterly training work plan and organize trainings accordingly.
  • Create a training schedule for each round and get it approved.
  • Prepare a plan for monitoring of trainings and get it approved.
  • Handle logistics for training activities including venues, equipment.
  • Procure training supplies and material (if required).
  • Assess effectiveness of the training program and analyze outcome of the training program achieved.
  • To manage the funds allocated for trainings and manage training documents.
  • Coordinate with Master Trainers to discuss training plan, effectiveness of the trainings and provide guidance and build essential skills.
  • Provide material to the Master Trainers.
  • Share feedback with Master Trainers after every round of the training.
  • Solve issues which arises during the trainings.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Disaster Risk Management (DRM/DRR), Public Administration, Development Studies, Social Science or other development-related fields.
  • At least 2 years of extensive experience in project management, planning and implementation, familiarity with donor funded development projects is an asset
  • Experience in coordination and ensuring consistency in implementation of the different projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent working level of English language in both writing and speaking

Functional Competencies:

  • 2 Years (Two-years of progressively responsible professional work experience in planning and conducting trainings, having knowledge and some experience of developing training materials and providing instruction to master trainers. Experience in multi sectoral/integrated programme would be an advantage.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English required. Knowledge of the local working languages (both Urdu & Pushto) of the duty station is essential.

Official Travel Involved:

  • Travel to districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
