Retail Store Assistant Manager

Responsibilities


  1. Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders, Display techniques and payments)

  2. Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives

  3. Monitor and maintain store inventory

  4. Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs

  5. Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best

  6. Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates

  7. Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources

  8. Suggest sales training programs and techniques

  9. Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs

  10. Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment 

  11. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service

  12. Handle complaints from customers

  13. Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competition

  14. Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines

  15. Act as our store’s representative and set an example for the staff

  16. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
