Configuration Engineer
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, optimize IIS, JIRA, AHA!, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, GCP/AWS, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, CircleCI and Docker Instances cloud base or on-site Servers for smooth working.
- Design & maintain cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on GCP, Azure & AWS etc.
- Work collaboratively with Development to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
- Applications Administration provides support for all application environments.
- Monitors and troubleshoots capacity, performance and availability issues in the assigned environment(s).
- Management of the Web Servers Maintenance plan and including schedule backup jobs.
- Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux, MAC & Windows based DevOps systems.
- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud infrastructure and systems.
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.
- Actively monitoring & troubleshoot issues using ELK, Splunk and Nagios etc. That arise during production, catching and forwarding issues to respective teams.
- Configure & maintain processes automation, build software tools, and create infrastructure-as-code solutions in a DevOps environment.
