InstallShield Developer
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
- Designs new InstallShield software and applications, supports applications under development, and customizes current installers. Assists with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases.
- Add necessary pre-requisites to installers for web-applications and desktop applications.
- Creates documentation for all designs, process, and implementation as part of SDLC.
- Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
- Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Generally, requires 3-5 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering.
- familiarity with data serialization formats like XML, JSO
- Self-organization decisions based on PBI’s Software Development Life Cycle
