Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities

  • Understand the market needs set by the product manager and establish the story acceptance criteria by working effectively with business analysts and the user experience (UX) team.
  • Work closely with the product manager to evaluate buy/build/partner opportunities for extending our solutions, including business cases to support the recommendation and on-going management of the partnerships.
  • Owns, defines, and executes the functional requirements that make up the prioritized product backlog. 
  • Defines market requirements that communicates problem(s) to be solved and who we are solving it for Participate in discussions held with customers in order to understand the problems we’re trying to solve and translate into story requirements.
  • Collaborate and work across internal teams (Product, account management, engineering, design, implementation, and regulatory) to define requirements for the product’s targeted end-user.
  • Conducts market research on users around a specific solution innovation and describe the solution to be offered to the market, including solution positioning and market messaging for key buyers.
  • Creates market-facing roadmaps to communicate the vision.
  • Champions user-centered design, ensuring that our solutions are based on best practices
  • Review, provide comment and interpret regulatory publications.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional review of certification requirements from regulatory publications.
  • Provide release notes for upcoming product releases.
  • Pragmatic Marketing or similar Product Management Certification desired.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills ability.
  • 4 years' experience in product management or marketing in the healthcare or software industry
  • Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions
  • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
  • Ability to understand and articulate the business implications of technical issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability; ability to define complex problems and creatively frame solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives or projects 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong market and customer-centric orientation
  • Strong collaboration with market-facing functions in the organization
