Network Systems Engineer

Nextbridge Pvt Ltd immediately requires 1 x Network Systems Engineer for one of its three offices based in Johar Town, Lahore.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Expertise in virtual infrastructure using VMware ESX/ESXi, Proxmox servers.
• Expertise in backups management using bash scripting and third-party tools
• Medium level understanding with network operations including, firewalls (Pf-sense, Fortinet, Sophos), VPN, point to point tunnels and routing
• Advance level user in Linux/Unix operating system (knowledge of BSD systems is a plus)
• MySQL replication knowledge is preferred but not required
• Monitoring of remote services – Strong Troubleshooting skills
• Experience in managing Webhosting control panels, such as (Cpanel, Virtualmin, etc)
• Strong understanding of DNS configurations and concepts
• Concept about Active directory and replications
• High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation.
• Email Server Handling
• Security and Server hardening experience
• Good Risk assessment qualities
• Certifications in Linux/Unix would be a plus but not required
• Excellent English written and verbal skills
