E Commerce Manager

Job Description

This role involves improving search engine optimization of large E-Commerce websites with Millions of products.

JOB DESCRIPTION

? Review technical SEO issues and recommend appropriate solutions

? Implement SEO recommendations for website architecture, content, internal linking and other factors to

improve SEO positions for target keywords and online visibility.

? Understand category and product level behaviors in order to improve relevancy of search results

? Create and modify dynamic search-related landing pages to support an improve onsite experience

? Work with the client’s website developer to implement analytics code, metadata, tracking pixels, work out

tracking and other technical issues

? Landing page optimization, and conversion optimization

? Understanding of how to improve crawl budget, remedy site performance issues, and

implement/troubleshoot structured data using a variety of tools like Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, AHRefs,

Google Analytics, GSC and GTM.

? Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals

? Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments

COMPETENCIES

- A Functional understanding of back-end elements such as HTML, CSS, robots.txt, metadata, etc.

- Experience with technical SEO analysis, site analysis and implementation experience on a large

scale E-Commerce platform

- Experience managing a portfolio of digital products, websites and mobile

- Strong understanding and knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Screaming Frog

- Strong knowledge of crawling and indexing process, including XML sitemaps, robots.txt, 301

redirects and how they affect indexation

- Familiarity with web development processes, including important points at which SEO should be

considered

- Apply and be able to explain SEO best practices for site navigation, breadcrumbs, internal links, etc

to clients
