Sr. Frontend Developer (Wordpress/Magento)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend (WordPress/Magento) Developer, who specializes in delivering highest quality work with a proven track record in a product or high scale services company. You will be able to implement new technologies into the projects. You will identify and address performance bottlenecks and be overseeing the live release process. Playing a key role in the development process, you will facilitate all aspects of the application life-cycle and ensure your team possesses the relevant skills required to fulfil their role. You will also make sure that they maintain up-to-date knowledge of all the latest thinking and processes in order for them to be able to operate at the top level of development.

Job Responsibilities

Proficient in OOPS, PHP5, XHTML, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, AJAX, MySQL, JSON

Extensive and proven experience of PHP application development, CMS and e-commerce systems

You use design patterns and have demonstrable experience in Magento 2 for at least 1 year

Very good knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015+)

Good knowledge of Knockout.js, React.js and Require.js

Experience with REST or GraphQL

Complete knowledge of deployment & development process i.e. GIT, Bitbucket

Gulp/Grunt/Webpack/Brunch, because we like to make things easier and automate our work as much as possible

Experience in creating mobile-adaptable websites and PWA, because we are following current trends

Adobe Photoshop, slicing, styling and conversion

A good eye, caring for aesthetics and basic UX awareness, because we like our websites to be nice and usable

High Proficiency in English is a must.

Job Requirements

Ideally 5 - 8 years working Experience as a Frontend Developer (WordPress and Magento)

Experience in large scale Wordpress or Magento e-commerce would be preferred

Have experience of working with the APIs (like Google Maps, Graph API, Twitter, PayPal)

Must have knowledge of different Frameworks/CMS including Magento

Excellent understanding of server-side programming and technologies

Good knowledge of Angular (ver. 4 or newer), VueJS or React Native- at least one commercial/open source project. We have great plans which include those technologies.

We do our best to be Agile, so experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies would be more than welcome

We work on really big projects, so good organization, planning, teamwork skills and a positive attitude is a must.

Strong communication skills coupled with the desire to develop yourself and continually advance your skills and knowledge

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant fields.
