Sales Operations Manager
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the sales data, creating sales reports, setting sales goals, and developing revenue forecasts. You will also be responsible for overseeing the sales technology stack and managing the team's compensation plans. Your role will be critical in supporting the sales team and driving sales performance through effective sales operations strategies and processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize sales data, including data collection, validation, and analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Create and generate sales reports, analyze sales performance metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, marketing, and product, to gather and analyze data for revenue forecasting and budgeting purposes.
Develop and implement sales goals and quotas, aligning them with overall business objectives and strategies.
Oversee and manage the sales technology stack, including CRM, sales automation, and other sales tools, to ensure optimal utilization and effectiveness.
Administer and manage the team's compensation plans, including commission structures, bonuses, and incentives, to drive desired sales behaviors and motivate the sales team.
Identify process gaps and inefficiencies in sales operations, and implement process improvements to streamline sales processes and increase sales productivity.
Provide training and support to the sales team on sales processes, tools, and systems, to ensure proper utilization and adherence to sales policies and procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sales operations, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into the sales operations strategy.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the domain of Business Development in the IT Industry.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales operations, sales analysis, or related roles.
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with excellent proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
In-depth understanding of sales processes, sales technology stack, and sales compensation plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to different audiences.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
