Job Overview:

A software engineer is the core of our firm, they are the people who build web applications according to the requirements and specification provided by the clients. As an associate software engineer, you are expected to have strong programming skills and have the ability to deliver workable and quality software to our clients. You will deliver results on actual business problem following standard development practices. You will be working on web technologies such as Java, PHP or NodeJS.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in computer sciences or similar degree

• 2 years plus

• Good Communication Skills

Responsibilities:

• Software Engineer will code, debug, and unit test systems per requirements and technical design.

• DB Design and Development. Software Engineers are expected to code, update, debug and optimize SQL. In the case of new or existing relational databases, the new hire will be expected to lead the data design and produce enterprise-level data models.

• Review and analyze requirements/write estimates. The developer will review requirements and design documents to produce estimates and task lists based on those requirements.

• Support, refactor and enhance an existing production system.

• Perform code reviews of Associate Software Engineers.

• Interact with the clients to understand and fulfill the requirements.

• Work under the supervision of Principal Software Engineers, Team Leads and Project Managers. Follow the processes set in the team.

• Be a cross-functional team member is an Agile team.

• Use standard coding practices, e.g. Coding Styles, Unit Testing, Version Control, Continuous Integration, Object Oriented Design Patterns, Project Management Tools, etc.
