ICT- Subject Teacher
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops and implements ICT Opportunities in all subject curriculum.
- Conducting ICT workshops for ICT teachers.
- Manages and administers all IT issues (Educational) within the Regional office and the IT Labs in the region.
- Monitors and observes teachers for ICT curriculum implementation.
- To keep up to date with national developments in the subject area and teaching practice and methodology.
- To actively monitor and respond to curriculum development and initiatives at national, regional and local levels.
- To take a leading role in ICT developments and cross curricular links with other subjects. To be responsible for the development of key skills in ICT.
- Foster an awareness of opportunities to use and consolidate ICT throughout the whole school curriculum.
- To offer support and guidance to other members of staff in the teaching and application of ICT.
- Keep staff informed of current developments in the ICT curriculum.
- Identify staff training needs and match to appropriate INSET provision.
- Developing ICT online software for students and staff, for examination, curriculum, information etc.
- Developing ICT Training Manual to support and assist for RSS Staff and Students.
- Developing ICT online software for students and staff, for examination, curriculum, information etc.
- Forecast ICT related plans, like up gradation of computer, distributions of CDs etc.
- Provide ICT related curriculum based training.
- Provide professional development and teacher support programmes for ICT teachers.
- To liaise with the ICT teachersto ensure the delivery of an appropriate, comprehensive, high quality and cost-effective curriculum program which complements the RSSs priorities.
- To be accountable for the development and delivery of ICTs subjects
