Job Description

Provide leadership and guidance to Roots International Schools' academic team.

Foster a culture of positive, engaged learners, and serve as a strong advocate for the school’s core values and mission.

Foster a spirit of independent and creative thinking in the school and to guide branch heads and academic staff towards innovative, dynamic teaching techniques.

To train and develop faculty nationwide.

To monitor and evaluate training and teaching outcomes.

Collaborate on curriculum development and revisions

Coordinate development of adjunct faculties' professional capacity and skills with University Partner

Meet with academic units regarding curricular needs and to share best practices

Provide insight and support for academic schedule for changes to enrollments, meetings spaces, times, instructors

Attend committee meetings on new courses and curricular changes to offer insight and best practices in teaching international students

Attend development events and share information

Coordinate and lead proctor entrance exams to support university admissions decisions

Assist staff with academic projects and tasks

Communicate with program instructors to ensure students and course needs are met according to program requirements

Monitor classroom and online activities according to program requirements to ensure students are engaged and encouraged and assists in developing and maintaining both personal and professional development

Provide learning resources and teaching materials, including textbooks and educational software that are appropriate and pertinent to the program requirements to ensure quality education

Provide guidance and mentorship on innovative delivery of instruction

Review student evaluations for all instructors in programs within the area of responsibility

Holds regular department meetings with faculty to ensure communication and buy-in on key strategic initiatives within the academic program and college as a whole

Ensures program faculty recognize and address differences in learning abilities of diverse student populations
