Warehouse Manager - Textile

Job Description

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Keeping stock control system up-to-date
• Responsible to carry out physical audit of store stock.
• Planning, organizing and controlling of stores over-all operations.
• Constantly plan out all stores resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
• Maintain housekeeping of store and surrounding area.
• Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report.
• Improvement & development of warehouse.
• Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective store administration.
• Maintaining accurate and verifiable stocks.
• Responsible for future capacity requirements,
• producing regular reports and statistics on daily weekly and monthly basis
• Issuance/dispatch of stock as per SOP.
• In depth knowledge of supply chain and logistics
• Negotiate with the Vendors to attain cost-optimization in purchasing solutions
• Ensure internal/external customer’s satisfaction through timely and quality purchases
• Handle and monitor obsolete/inventory disposals.
• Review agreements in liaison with the contracts team & vendors to finalize the terms & conditions of goods/services being proc. Share procurement progress reports with management
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
• And carry out all activities and function as directed by the senior management
• Prefer who have wide warehouse experience in textile industry.
