Responsibilities:
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
- Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands.
- Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category.
- Provide high-level coordination and technical expertise to ensure effective

- Devising a merchandising plan using the above
- Devising a contract for the suppliers, including quality control, accuracy and flexibility, which is done throughout the season.
- Allocating certain amounts of stock to each outlet throughout the season, to minimize unnecessary stock holdings for maximum budgetary
- Helping build, reconcile and aligning sales and inventory plans to achieve financial objectives
- Preparing and updating monthly open-to-buy forecasts
- Maximizing sales, turn and profitability
- Helping assess and identifying brand opportunities
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with members of cross-functional teams
- Collaborating with team to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge
- Assisting in planning/forecasting markdown activity.
- Support the department’s weekly reporting needs
- Maintain and update the open-to-buy daily, weekly and monthly, as needed
- Participate in a cross-functional team
