Junior Storyboard Artist

Soft Nation Technologies is looking for a Junior Storyboard Artist to work on multiple video graphics projects. The ideal Storyboard Artist candidate will be conceptual, collaborative and an all-around creative star. Must be capable of taking a script or idea for a business need and bringing it to life through illustrative mediums.

Responsibilities and Duties

•Understand and interpret requirements from the brief of client

•Study the script to understand required mood and overall theme

•Ability to turn script into complete illustrated storyboard without and have enough visualization skills to make it creative

•Consider camera angles and transitions to be used in the storyboard presentation

•Compose character drawings from which the more detailed illustrations will be developed

•Have excellent drawing skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of styles

•Complete color or monochrome storyboards in full for use by production staff

•Edit storyboards and make changes as per the request of director or production team

•Able to develop story and the flow of the video with and without script

•Able to work independently and train interns for team development

•Flexible to work in different time zones
