SQA Engineer

Job Description

· At least 1-3 Years of hands-on experience in testing, writing and maintaining test plans, scripts and ultimately executing manual tests.

· Strong understanding of testing methodologies

· Strong experience of working with Developers having come from a computing degree background.

· The candidate must have experience of automated test platforms such as DevOps, QTP / Selenium as well as experience with the growing range of open source test tools at both unit test and system test/live levels.

· Ability to devise appropriate test strategy and performing test planning

· Ability to document, analyze and communicate test results, Proficiency in SQ

· Identify bug sources and introduce steps to reproduce and report bugs in bug management tools

· Remember and differentiate between different test cycles and verify output from SQL queries

· Ability to work closely with Development Team, Team Lead and Project Manager

· Good understanding of quality models including ISO and CMMI

· Should have excellent oral and written communication skills

· Experience in testing legacy environments as well as newer technology products based on web services, AI, and Cloud applications.

· Develop Test Cases / Use Cases, Executing test plans

· Estimation, planning and control QA activities

· Must have hands-on experience on required tools including but not limited to bug reporting and tracking, load testing, performance testing, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing etc.
