Magento Developer

• -        Must have strong knowledge of Magento E-Commerce platform, if candidate have experience in Magento-2 then it will be plus point
• -        It will be plus point if candidate have knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, Cake PHP, Zend, etc. and JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
• -        Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• -        Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• -        Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• -        Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN.

• Knowledge Areas:

  1.     Code/Tech: HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, SQL, Varnish, Zend Framwork1/2,

                          Apache 2.2/ 2.4, Solr, Git, Cross-Platform and Cross-Browser, Nginx,

                                 Responsive, Development Environment, Web Standards

   

  2.     Magento Specific: Heavy knowledge of both Magento 1 and Magento 2, programming

                                  experience with PHP, JavaScript and eCommerce (preferably Magento),

                                  Expert knowledge working with web applications from the backend

                                  through front end tier.

  3.     Client-Facing: Training, Project management, Support, Sales Support, Commercial awareness, Deployment

·        Strong experience in Magento Development

·        Good experience in MVC and object orientated PHP

·        HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques

·        JavaScript frameworks incl. The prototype, jQueryQunit angular, backbone, etc.

·        A confident approach to best practice for Magneto and PHP development

·        Research and documentation skills

·        Integration with 3rd parties such as shipping providers, payment gateways and marketing/CRM systems

·        Database design and maintenance skills in MySQL

·        Scrum, Agile, TDD and CI

·        Exposure to high volume e-commerce and dealing with spikes in traffic

·        HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques required 

·        Custom CMS Themes development skills
