Draftsman

Draftsman Job Description:

Liaising with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs

Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data

Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality

Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques

Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

Proven work experience of 2-3 years.

Ability to create preliminary designs or conceptualization of design

Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking and time management techniques

should be able to visually communicate concepts, draw well and be very detailed
