Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Viftech Solutions (pvt.) Ltd is looking for Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Understands requirements from the project team and leads the conceptual design discussions

Drives collaboration with Automation team members and other IT team members, ensuring that the automation solution is viable and designed appropriately to solve the requirements.

Creates solutions for complex modules/ideas. Provides automation estimates to the senior team members for review and submission, and provides input to the Delivery Schedule.

Documents detailed designs for automation solutions, codes/configures utilizing approved Automation tools

Design and create test scripts using Java, JavaScript

Manages and defines feedback loop from automation that allows for defect analysis and resolution

Supports testing of solutions by QA team and peer reviews work done by junior team members and monitors the progress on their tasks.

Leads Design walkthrough sessions, solution demos, code review sessions and training sessions.

Adheres to the standards with respect to tools, framework, scripting and versioning techniques as a directed by Automation Architects.

Performs maintenance to existing solutions including updating documentation.

Mentors other Test Automation Engineers on test methodologies, test automation coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience required in Software Engineering Development with focus on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing.

Experience in Java or Javascript

Experience building and delivering end-to-end test automation life cycle project

Experience driving test automation solution as part of ongoing project life cycle

Good verbal and written communications skills

Strong team player
