Job Summary

General Manager HR Responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape our employer brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR technology, including payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.

The candidate must use knowledge of various HR functions including staffing, workforce planning, talent management, employee retention, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations, employee recognition, compensation, benefits, performance management, employment law, HR compliance, training and development, workplace investigations, effective communication and coaching to provide tactical and strategic HR support to drive employee engagement. Also act as liaison to other HR functions when necessary. Responsibilities are not restricted to the ones mentioned below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide guidance on effective recruiting practice, interviewing/hiring, behavioral/personality assessments, on-boarding, orientation and retention strategies.

Provide guidance and support with coaching and performance improvement and documentation process.

Provide guidance during the termination process. Conduct exit interviews.

Set objectives for the HR team and track progress

Proven working knowledge of Compensation and Benefits, especially Payroll Management.

Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment

Develop compensation and benefits plans

Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process

Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers

Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)

Organize learning and development programs

Ensure HR staff addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner

Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations

Host in-house recruitment events

Skills

In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Hands on experience in Recruitment and Selection

Competent in effectively overseeing and implementing Performance management system.

Ability to develop as well as maintain long-term employee relations

Excellent communication skills

People oriented and results driven.

Job requirements

Master’s Degree.

5 yrs. experience in HR related field.

Background in one or more of the following HR Generalist areas.

Recruitment & selection, employment law, employee relations, workforce planning, coaching, training & development, compensations, organization development & project management.

4 yrs. Management Experience.

Proficiency in English

Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills

Must be available to work anytime in the time of need
