Consultant Chef

Zeta Technologies is looking for Consultant Chef for one of its Dubai based Client located in EMAAR.

To keep us growing to lead in all aspects and focus on working to develop recipes and menus and offer advice to restaurants, food producers, caters, bakery and other businesses in the culinary industry

The incumbent must have a vast knowledge of renowned international or local Fast Food/Restaurants.

Innovative and self-driven with strong communicational skills & high customer interaction. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

• Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs

• Modifying menus or create new ones that meet quality standards

• Must be able to develop new menu items and recipes

• Kitchen SOPs and relevant procedures for hot and cold line of foods of different cuisines, Pakistani, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Turkish, Arabic etc

• Must have exceptional skill in quick service food, Pizza, Pasta, Sandwich, Burgers, Wraps, Salads and Sauces and Beverages

• Food presentation techniques

• Must be able to Hire and give training to the staff. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed

• Inspect the quality of the food

• Be aware of new culinary trends and recipes

• Coordinate all of the kitchen staff

• Hire and train new kitchen staff & actively help/assist Chef in charge about new trends and market taste

• Manage special dietary needs

• Oversee purchasing to stay within certain budget

• Dedicated to food quality and control

• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards

Skills & Expertise     

 • Proven working experience as a Consultant/Head chef

• Excellent record of kitchen management

• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

• Capable of delegating multiple tasks

• Communication and leadership skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

• Certifications in international or local Fast Food/Restaurants

• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
