I’m currently a Cultural Ambassador at U.S department of State and an Exchange Student. I was enrolled in Missouri State University, Springfield and have returned Pakistan in May 2018. My journey to USA is one of the best life changing experience and has taught me a great deal. Being a country representative in United States was a big challenge as we had to share our culture, values and heritage with Americans and other internationals and along with this, changing their specific thoughts towards Pakistani’s was a great experience. I worked with many organizations there and marked my presence in many renowned events. I successfully completed twenty-four hours of community service or volunteer work in different organizations in a freezing weather which was very challenging but a wonderful experience. I worked with Springfield Community Gardens, Springfield Boys and Girls Club and got to know community needs and requirements. I went to State Utah, Salt Lake City for reentry workshop, a part of our Semester Exchange program and did volunteer work at The Road Home nonprofit organization which provides assistance to homeless and low-income individuals and families.
