Accounting Officer

f you are an experienced and ambitious Accounting officer with strong work ethics and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the maintenance of the General Ledger, Fixed Asset Register and reconciliation.

Preparation of Monthly reports and Monthly/Annual Financial Statements for presenting to auditors.

Working day to day finance activities such as petty cash, management of Debtors/Creditors and etc.

Responsible to verify all payments and conduct monthly payroll (Training provided).

Liaise with Banks / External Auditors and other authorities as and when required

Overlooking other related ad-hoc admin work.

Work using companies computerized accounting package (Training provided).

Experience in writing and drafting official letters in English and/or Sinhala.

REQUIREMENTS:

Have 2+ years’ experience as an Accounts clerk or similar capacity handling attendance, debtors, payroll and etc.

Age should be between 45 years to 55 years

Must possess good communication skills and an understanding on business requirements.

Should have proficiency in Office automation software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email.

Ability to work in tight deadlines, minimum supervision and self-motivated.
