Assistant Software Project Manager

Responsibilities & Context

Carry out Small/Medium project activities from project initiation to project closer

Prepare assigned project resources with necessary project-related information

Implement the necessary project management practices. Maintain Project Charter, Project management plans, WBS, Schedule, issues, Risks, Project Dashboard, Project Status Report, Project Closer Report, Project Lesson Learned etc

Manage the project plan, issues list, and other supporting documents throughout the project in an effort to maintain client expectations and project milestone success.

Work with various team members (both Internal functional teams and customer teams) to resolve project and process issues in a timely manner and document any issues

Communicate and publish project status to the project stakeholders and team.

Serves as liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure all implementation requirements and targets are met.

• Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure all targets and requirements are meet with DoD.

• Providing update to the steering committee & Management Team. Strong monitoring & follow-up to achieve the results on time on budget.

Creates, updates and maintains resource/project calendars.

Capable to manage shared resources.

Monitors and tracks all escalated issues to resolution.

Coordinate SRS/BRD Sign-off for projects

Coordinate UAT Sign-off for projects

Manage project scope to meet project success criteria

Ensures projects are completed on schedule and on Budget.

Ensures Implementation of project management tools and methodologies.

Other responsibility assigned by Management
